BBC Shropshire quoting club sources that they wanted to work with someone who considers the existing backroom set up there as they have done ok without Askey since they let him go.

Given Barrow's comments, I would be staggered if he left to join him. He may go if a new manager comes in and wants his own team, but that would probably be the only circumstance in which he leaves us.

I'll be honest, being a remote supporter I had no idea who our backroom staff were until Saturday. Seems like we're blessed right now and should do what we can to retain Barrow in any capacity.

Looks like it was temp but he enjoyed it so stayed, anyone's guess where he goes next, not Slops tho
