Yes. Attendances have been great but its the poor quality of players that has cost us down here. Make no mistake where the problem lies.

Without doubt he was putting money in. The rumour I heard was he wasn't going to give Askey much to bolster the squad in the summer as he wanted some of his investment back this year, hence Askey was looking to leave especially when they had a row at xmas time over him and the players not being paid on time.
