Let's all give him a chance. Wouldn't have been my first choice tbh but I think the working relationship between him and GB will be important. They already know each other so can hit the ground running. This is important as he steps in straight away. It's firmly up to the players now to perform like they have been doing.

All Manager appointments have a risk Brian Little had all the credentials to be a success and looked how that turned out. As jonesfach says let’s if true give him a chance.

We're in great position in the league and for me this is a gamble too far. He's never played at this level and I have doubts he knows the league, teams and players that well if at all.

I'm extremely nervous about this, this could kill the current board like the Mills appointment did to Horne and Bircham who both scuttled off into the sunset without a care in the world.

Personally I had no time for those two but Bircham has put loads of cash into club with continuing sponsorship etc but as for Horne he is a waste of space who just trotted off.
