What an embarrassing thread that is. I don’t understand why people take every opportunity to do the club down (I don’t mean Billy here, who is and always will be a club legend - I mean whoever has fed him this nonsense). As Pete Jones explains:

The framed Hall of Fame photos were taken down to refurbish Bamfords which looks great especially with the new ceiling.
There is even more work to be done in the corridor with the toilets also soon to be refurbished which is why they haven't gone back up yet.
The dark framed photos will also need to have the frames changed to match the new decor.
Hopefully we'll see you back soon to admire the new decor! ”

PERSONALLY, I think that this will be a very active RP user who has strong links to the Former Players Association. I'm not the brightest star in the sky so I could be totally wrong but it looks to me that the FPA (or at least, the RP user who regularly posts on FPA matters) has huge issues with the WST. There is a lot of shit stirring all over RP and social media which as we can see by this today, is designed to stir emotions and let Joe Public carry out their dirty work. This really can't be good for the club that we are all supposed to love

As a member of the FP Committee, I have no time whatsoever with any aggro wherever it comes from. I joined to play a small part in helping and fund raising for the CLUB!!! I think more communication is needed.

Players come and players go, but the fans and the floodlights are here forever. No player has ever saved the club but the fans who raised £120,000 in a day to keep the club alive did. If anyone deserves their picture in Bamfords, it's the fans.
