The results today plus the game in hand we have over Salford, Harrogate and Orient mean there's still hope. If we can take 4 points from Salford on the bank holidays we'll be in the driver's seat.

Young coming on was probably more significant for given us an attacking edge than Roberts coming off.

I agree I thought Summerfield had one of his worst games today he didn't look as fired up as usual, he looked a bit casual, but all players at this level have off days.

I still find it hard to believe that only 7 teams have scored more goals than us and one of them is Havant and Waterlooville! Kept them out at the other end and add just a few more goals and we are definite contenders. I don’t believe there is much in it.

Absolutely,

I think in Grant, we have found someone who is capable of getting a few goals for us, not sure if we will be able to convince him to stay till the end of the season. Hopefully he does the business between now and the end of the month to ....
A) keep us up there and
B) convince himself that he is onto a good thing and he decides to stay.

Then we just need to add one or two more players in January and things could get very interesting.

A couple of positive results over Christmas and New Year (I think that is achievable) would be a great boost to our hand when trying to sign new faces in the transfer window.

A great result yesterday. Given their form since change of manager I thought we would struggle to get more than a draw. Just looking at the January fixtures. After our away fixture at Fylde on the 19th we will only have two matches to play against the current top 6 - Orient away and harrogate at home in the last game of the season. If we are still within touching distance after that game we must be in with a chance of at least a top 3 finish.

Wouldn't expect Manny to start on Tuesday 2 games in 4 days would be too much for a player returning from injury.

Glad to see Holroyd come on. I know he's not the best, but sitting on the subs bench every week cant be doing his confidence any good, likewise with MFT.

No sign of JMD yesterday!
