Apparently a few years ago (2014) the average L2 managers salary was 50k. I'd imagine we'd have to offer similar level to that to remain competitive.

I have no idea myself but 35-40 seems very low. Somehwere between 50-70k seems more likely. But I really. Have no idea!

I'm the same 2014 LMA survey the average League 1 salary was between 75-100k

regardless of who is brought in.... wether Askey, Lawrence .. Fergason or even his Dad .. there will be an element of risk... no guarantee they will hit the floor running.. and no guarantee they will do well long term.

i personally think we are only a star striker or 2 away from seriously challemging for the league title. we have money in the bank.. its the job for whoever comes in to identify and sign that player without breaking the bank.
