You know what I think I've changed my mind as to if Jennings meant it or not.
He looks to set himself up and it doesn't look like a cross, unless he wanted to float it into the back post. It's almost like a long range dink.

When you judge it relative to his usual standard of crosses, there is no way it was meant as a shot. Total fluke.

Have to say, watching that back I thought Grant's goal was well taken at the time but it's better than I thought. Keeper on him pretty quickly and he picked his spot well. We've had lots of those situations this season so far and most have been saved.

Indeed, it's a well taken finish. He had a couple of other chances that you'd hope he'd bury but hopefully his finishing will only improve with games.

Do you think Bevs meant to hit that pass to Grant but spooned it to Rutherford? Great assist from Rutherford, perfect timing and weight of pass.

im sorry but how do some people not rate rutherford yet? he could have had 5 or 6 assists if shooting was improved.

Sat in the MRS, that is what I thought at the time and thought Bev's had ballsed it up and the chance was gone but as you say, quick thinking and the perfect pass from Ruthers and a cool finish from Bobby.

2-0 up and what a pass from Bev's :)
