Is our perennial Achilles heel going to cost us again?

Half the season gone and our top scorer is on 5 and not in the top 24 strikers in the league. I know its not easy - but every other team seems to be able to find better strikers than we do.

Bizarrely, only 8 teams have scored more goals than us and two of them are in 18th and 19th position.

As long as we are tight at the back and convert one or two 0-0 games to 1-0 we are still in with a chance. Obviously I would much prefer to be thrashing teams out of sight, but all is not lost. Perhaps Barrow can get the team creating more chances and Grant, or a new striker, can convert them.

Not one striker in the top 24 did you say? People laughed at the froth during pre season, ah well, at least they know why some were frothing now. Unless sorted, we won’t do anything, that includes the playoffs. #goalswingames
