Christmas/January shopping list
 

Being realistic then as we get to the festive season and January sales then what is on our realistic list. In and Out :)

CF, winger, CM as bare minimum and 3 that should go straight into starting 11.
This does not include the Walker situation for me.

But who realistically are our targets, forgetting league bound players, firemen, plasterers, southern softies :) and all that jazz.

Would Ndoh or Asante be better than Fondop.
Could we tempt Kosylo and give him a role in the front 3.
CM is a conundrum and we need a leader and idealy ex-league looking to extend his career. Our new Keates :)

What about swapping Manny for Cook?..

2 strikers 1 Wideman 1 CM and 1 left back..5 in and suspect
4/5 out...For the first time in years we know we have some real money to spend in January

I would say number 1 on our Christmas list is a manager before anything else. Listening to Morrell last night, it sounded like he was trying to sell himself. He was always going on about what he would do now if he was the manager, talking a lot more tactics that usual. I have a feeling he has sent in his application and is waiting to hear. The club need to sort out the managers position as soon as possible, and as much as I like Morrell, he would be a step backwards for this club.

We have no attacking players, at all. It’s a miracle where we are.

We have no one in the team with genuine pace, 3 attackers would be ideal. Holroyd can leave and Fondop can go out on loan.

We have a better midfield than that season.
Beavon and Grant are better than anything we had up top last season too.

How many goals has Beavon scored?

Beavon is a tireless runner , his link up play is great and he wins his fair share in the air. It’s not really his fault that he’s been playing with players who aren’t quite up to it atm (Fondop,Pyke, JMD).
If we could get a decent centre forward and keep Grant , then Beavon would be a great player to have around them.

If you think Beavon is the problem, you are thick.
