My take is he knows we are struggling to sort it and so if push came to shove and he was asked to take it he doesn't want to refuse point blank but I doubt it's his or the club's ideal option.

I wouldn't welcome that and I'm sure there would be uproar on here if it transpired.

Don't think we will in any way struggle to fill the vacancy - lots out there would be glad to take the reigns.

However, I would rather we take the time and not rush in if it means getting the right man.

Don't think GB really wants it - preference to be the number 2 at the age of 64 - but it means finding someone who is happy to come in from the outside knowing the number 2 is contracted for the next 2.5 years. If Lawrence or Challinor were being considered then no problem as they have been together before but it could be potentially 'difficult' if it's someone else beyond those two.

If they've thrown that deal at Barrow without having a manager lined up I'm afraid that's absolutely shocking from the board. They simply cannot have been that stupid.

In fairness to FOG he knows his stuff about football. Unfortunately when it comes to Wrexham he has become a bit wum like. No posts that I have seen regarding the last 2 wins, only negative comments on other non game related posts. Constructive critisicm like PAGL is good but just repetitive negativity is childish.
