This is one of the issues with social media where we can all get immediate access to off the cuff statements. If I were a former football played and was proud of the photos which had been taken down and not being replaced at a club I Loved I would be pissed off. I think Billy was informed by a wind up Facebook post.

However someone the fans love should have not acted so publicly and petulantly as a representative of former players.

We do t live in an ideal world and this is a really easy fix. Plenary of former players and others in and around Bamfords to have spotted and corrected this.

Come on guys just sort out new frames - it’s easy and all this jibing isn’t necessary.

Don't want to pursue the ins and outs for obvious reasons and hope the Hall of Fame photos issue will be resolved to everyone's satisfaction soon. As for King Billy ....well he is an old-time hero. In an age when players are frequently accused of not caring for the game or the clubs they play for , he represents the passion and commitment those guys lack. A hero for fans of all the clubs he played for , he wears his heart on his sleeve and says what he believes. I wouldn't want him any other way!!
Billy is also a gent , always willing to help our Club in any way he can. He lives in Southport but gets over whenever he can. He recently was guest of honour, with Shinner and Dave Smallman , at a local Charity do.

I commented on a photo of our " massive floodlights " which some people are suddenly very excited about. My post was sarcastic but I don't think I said anything that wasn't true.

Ahh bringing our the old "sarcastic" excuse when you have been caught with your pants down eh

You said that photos of floodlights had replaced photos of club legends. I think that is quite clearly a statement that WAS and IS untrue

No need for insults Mr Haruki. I said that the HoF photos had been taken down and replaced by photos of floodlights. Both statements are true. Do you ever visit Bamfords??

No insults here

I don't go to Bamfords very often but Pete Jones confirmed in reply to you that the photos had been taken down temporarily for redecoration and not been replaced by floodlight pictures.
I inclined to believe him rather you to be honest
