Public Relations
Amongst the difficult decisions and actions required of a board of directors, PR is usually once of the most straightforward to deal with.
Once more, we have an example of an extremely poorly managed situation; one that if handled correctly could have been turned into a huge positive. Instead we have an unnecessary negativity about the whole thing. It's not difficult, it really isn't. To get it so spectacularly wrong again is extremely worrying. |
Re: Public Relations
If only we had a PR expert on the board.

Re: Public Relations
Have a day off.
Whoever got appointed there was going to be negativity, its Wrexham. Something has gone on in appointing a new manager, but they cant full well come out and say "We wanted Lawrence, but had to just give it to Graham." |
Re: Public Relations
The club only announced there would be a press conference to announce the new manager. No razzmatazz, no publicity stunts, nothing. Just a press conference. They announced it via the Website, twitter and Facebook. The fans have turned it in to something that it wasn't via 2 hours of posts and speculation and are now beating the club because they're disappointed that it isn't who they wanted.

Why should he have a day off? Because you don't agree with him? |

Spot on. Higher expectations based on rumours from the ill informed and wild guesses. |
Re: Public Relations
I'm not overly disappointed in the appointment, what I am disappointed in is that the appointment is clearly as a result of the deal already given to Barrow. They either wanted someone else who said they were happy to work with GB but fell through or they offered BG a deal as assistant manager regardless.
Either way, incredibly poor from the board. |
