In the page 6 leader article today then Sleeping Giant Dies states there is a lot of stadium work going on at the moment. I know we are working on disabled platforms and the Xmas raffle is towards it but what other work is detracting from the playing budget?

I know you probably didn't mean to have a dig at wheelchair users,but you might try phrasing things a bit differently next time,for the avoidance of any doubt.

There seems to be an assumption that when the conversion is carried out it won't be accessible.

Again, some posters trying too hard to be pc, or offended on someone else's behalf.

I'd expect a lot more on the stadium before the end of the financial year too. The Danny Ward money all had to be brought into account this year, so we need to spend to ensure we don't post too large a profit and have a big CT bill.

Dont quite see where I implied anything detrimental.
The platform money seems to be ringfenced as I alluded to and I have contributed in about 3 different ways. Have you?

Depends on how we account for it and receive it.
Capital from WST can always be repaid I think.

But to be fair if the club issue an update every time work is undertaken it'll lead to a frenzy of "WHY ARE THEY WASTING MONEY ON THE STADIUM WE DON'T NEED A STADIUM WE NEED 2 STRIKERS NO AMBISHUN MANAGED DECLINE SPENDING MONEY IS THE CHEAP OPTION"

The stadium needs improving or it'll cost us more in the long run

Doesn't matter how we receive the money. It has to be brought in this year as a revenue receipt. Capital repayments don't affect the profit and loss.

It's for this reason I think we'll also spend big in January.
