So if we manage to buy/loan a super striker could everything be done for Jan1st v Salford or do we have to wait until Dover the following Saturday? ( I know we often take time to get players in Jan and it may well be the end of the month!). Just thinking would be great to get Super Striker in for Salford on the 1st

We lost him because we dithered with a new contract and this started in the January. Surprise who was responsible for the dithering. He told me this himself.

Is he a replacement for Pyke?

We need experience as well and thats what we need to spend this money on apparently :)

If it does, we might make the play offs but will go out unable
to score a goal. We don't spend on forwards so we'll be down here a long time.

If this does come to pass I agree to an extent. An 18 year old striker is not what we need.

It doesn't even have to be a known big name striker (or two) but someone who does the business for us. 18 years old is just too inexperienced.

Whatever happens we need to be very careful with our cash. This is the last windfall we'll get from the crop of players produced from the old youth system; now the cupboard is bare. We need cup runs now; or players we have bought but can sell on for a profit.

The info from the Corporation tax expert is we spend or pay tax so it would be foolish not to spend. Carefully is an opinion :) as it depends on the amount we spend and value for money we get.
My opinion would be 1 prospect with sell on value and 1 experienced.
