We had a few posters saying that we need to sign Summerfield up long term, but i think he is better than what we have had in recent years but still very average, when the going gets tough Summerfield goes missing. It would be interesting to see how many assists he has this season,is there a site you can check this on.

Excellent reply but pace does help.

I agree , we lack pace in our team. But I think that pace is missed more out wide, which makes it madness that Tollitt isn’t starting.
Our fullbacks are also very slow.

We did have two pace loan signings at the start of the season, both no longer here now.

Tollitt's not starting because he's probably far from match fit and not used to playing football for 90 minutes - especially being a wide man where energy levels need to be high - I would think the same applies to Stockton & Oswell.

Perhaps it's a better ploy to wear down the opposition and then put the likes of Tollitt on for the last 20 minutes if we want to get the best out of him against a tiring defence.

Unfortunately, another example of us having no competitive reserve fixtures to build players up - your either playing regularly or not at all.
Pyke will now be in the same boat.

We have chopped and changed throughout the season in an effort to find the elusive magic recipe but have yet to come up with what we need.

Barrow targetting a new CB

Can someone change his aim or increase it - we need someone to create chances for the strikers.

Isn't this so obvious to all; incl Barrow ?

Agree. We all want these new players to give 100% for 90 minutes, but the coaches realise what they can achieve now, without doing lasting injury to them. Yes it’s frustrating, but not cause to throw in the towel, as many have suggested. Even a defeat at Fylde would not be catastrophic but we would certainly need to have things resolved soon after.

Its a strange one, we would have been 2nd in the league, lose and game and we are 4th, and alot of us (including me) are feeling fedup

Post christmas blues , who knows - or is it because we've seen it all go wrong before ?

Lack of players with pace worries me - other than Tollitt

We dont seem able to get behind defences
