At this moment in time the clubs around us have better strikers, with two of those clubs bringing in more fire power. Failure to recruit quality up top this time will see us eventually fall off. It cant happen. Spend and get Rowe here.

I'm far from convinced a striker is the final piece to make us complete. Yeah it will help but we aren't a team that creates loads of chances usually. Another CM I think is just as vital, if Summerfield doesn't play then we are significantly weaker. Ideally someone in the mould of Fowler who can run the show.

Depends whether you view a striker who is capable of scoring 20 goals a season as unrealistic or not.

On a serious note our last January transfer window and most others recently have generally been disasters.

If that turns out to be the case its likely to be players on the slide down..

Can't see us attracting decent players from the Championship!
