The worst BS was the line about scouring the country for the next manager but then we suddenly realised we had the “perfect candidate” already here.

Well if we knew that we’d have given him the job straight away.

Much better candidates are still spending their Saturday afternoons sitting on the couch. Either the board were lazy, cheap or just plain stupid. There's still time to make the right choice and change it now.
