This is still very much in the planning process and we need to move to facilitate the council's plans to build a primary school on nine acres, so I doubt very much that the 150 year lease will be any more than the current rent.

With regard to the infrastructure, there's a very good chance that the bulk of this expenditure won't even fall within this financial year anyway.
Some people can only think in terms of how they economise at home. Money comes in and money goes out.

This is great news.

Groves is lucky to still be there for a start and not converted into flats
Whilst some would like us to throw all the money at a couple of players on way down for their final pay cheque...Good moves forward !! Up the Town !!!
Well said.

We've been long term none league.

Of course we need to plan for the future with the training ground but along with the fairly underwhelming managerial appointments I hope the board are planning to bring a new striker as a minimum in during January.

A lot, maybe most of the fans, I think even those who like me strongly back the board think we are being run very cautiously as a club and need to be a bit more short term and focus on getting back in the league as the main, if not only, priority. Fans patience won't last forever and we certainly cannot accept our position now is as a permanent none league club unless we happy to get very lucky with a tilt at the play offs one year.

A striker is still imperative. I think we'll have the budget for both a training ground and a striker.

Exactly this, while I would like a striker in January, we could go and spunk £200k on a striker who comes here and does nothing. How much did Liverpool pay for Carrol again?

Long term ambition and a decent training ground is the sort of thing that managers and players will look for when coming to the club.

Why can’t we use colliers, once the fAw sort the place out?

If you’re complaining about this, you are quite obviously a prick.

It’s an asset for the club, something we’ve all been crying out for.
