I appreciate your attempts to dress it up but its far better if it is said as it is. Its about improving and that happens when you learn from mistakes and not keep making the same ones.
You are forgetting a squad of less substance and character could have nosedived this last month but we are still averaging 2 points a game, much better than many had predicted/hoped for pre-season. GB has steadied the ship and hopefully will keep us on course through the winter and at it for the run in.

No one team are showing they are equipped to go on a long sequence of wins, so currently as per the norm the championship is wide open.

I think only Orient's recent form is better than ours and considering we have had a difficult month off the pitch with a few key players ruled out on it, I would take it, confident with a couple of quality additions, who can fit in quickly, we will stay in the title race this time round. We will see Salford's & Solihull's credentials this week as well as far more importantly our own.
5th over last 10 games, 12th over last 6. D & R are the form team on both tables.

We have a good deal and despite all the doom and gloom analysis we only need one or two players to bu title contenders some people need to chill

I am going to email David Attenborough so he can do a documentary on the natural defensive barrier of a DW
Any subject and it's activated and used as a protection against the problems we face.

How can we improve if you think that every event has a mitigating circumstance. How unprofessional would the manager and team have been to nose dive in this situation. Certainly wouldn't want players like that at our club.

Changes are needed to improve this squad/team that's for sure and IMO the pressure is on the WAFC board and GB to deliver these changes in January.

I am concerned over the current use of Fondop as it seems madness given he is on a 2 year deal and I am expecting significant changes and spending decent money in Jan.

Nothing to flap about at the moment - still in there with a good shout and we are all looking forward to hearing who will be strengthening the squad in January.

Some good signing I'm sure

I did I suspect a hint of credit in there.

We all appreciate GB will need to improve the team, but that is no different from any other team. Managers are always looking to improve what they have got. Significant change in January could really backfire, we progressed under Keates, Ricketts and hopefully GB will add some quality/right players and finish the job. One thing seems certain we have more money available to strengthen and invest in the first team squad than for many a year and looking at where we currently are we should be looking forward positively.

I've had a look at their forum and was quite surprised. That was far from the best performance I've seen in 5 games this season (we were much better in August against Maidenhead and Eastleigh). As others have said I don't think it's just the strikers, I think our midfield is lacking and I thought we missed Luke Young today. Is Grant a striker or attacking midfielder? If the former he doesn't cut it for me and if the latter we need another two strikers next month. I think a midfield comprising Wright and Walker is one defensive midfielder too many.

At least yesterday we weren't completely overrun by Aldershot which makes a change from the last couple of seasons. Let's hope our new winger's clearance comes through in time for Boxing Day and we can get a win.

At the moment that is probably so. However, if we can attract another 2 - preferably 3 - good quality players, our chances will improve.

These next 3 games are all 6-pointers. We must somehow win both home games and not lose at Salford. If we can win all 3 games we will be in a very strong position. But, to do so, those we have need to go up a gear and all play as a team.

Looking forward to Boxing Day.
