January can't come quick enough. Just hope new faces come in sooner rather than later.

Bar the Trophy match last week someone has just told me we have scored a mere 3 goals in the last 7 games - we don't seem to realise that goals win football matches - not just the forwards but all over the park.

Only sub today was Holroyd who got 24 second half minutes - even when Rutherford goes off in added time we introduce Deverdics in preference to Fondop.

Sometimes regardless of personnel or their qualities, a straightforward change of the forward line could bring a change - Fondop was the last chance salon - why not give him a run out for 10 - 15 minutes as nothing else was working. Last week Fondop & Holroyd looked a decent option.

It's as though we have no desire to go for goal - too intent to put defence first at the expense of scoring.

Comments from any of the 229 reds who went in an attendance of 1,866 would be welcome.

Is it the strikers though or the way we are set up ? find the answer and it could be a season changer.

Their goal difference is +32 and ours is +16. That’s the equivalent of 7 points behind.

True. But also we've got a game in hand and a whole half a season to go. Plenty of time to make up that gap.

But we need to sort out our attack. And who knows, Bonne may go in January?

That the difference isn’t it? They actually have a goal scorer now and we will HOPE to sign one in January. Certainly easier to keep hold of a goal scorer than pick one up in jan
