Too right. Every Salford player will know they came to a proper club today. Most of the empty seats were in the away end. Likewise, the empty seats on NYD will be in the home end. Rooney or Beavon?

He’s an absolute class above in this league. The way he makes himself a yard of room, turns on the ball, can ping a pass instead of floating it. A joy to watch. A proper footballer.
And to think, we raved over wedgbury last year!!

To answer your question, I'd rather play for the side offering me significantly more money if I didn't have any affiliation to either club. As would most. I hope today was a great incentive for him to sign on with us however, he'd be sorely missed.

At this level it's money 1st, 1500 quid a week over 1k or 1200 quid a week is a no brainer for most players.

He was pretty poor for the first 10. The following 80 plus minutes he was bloody brilliant.

I like him a lot. He’s a responsible player and knows his importance to this team. What helps him is he’s a good size so can be physically imposing in the midfield.

2 year deal is essential for him. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see him sign for a League side, he’s been outstanding here.

Given his age I'd be offering him a 2 and a half year deal. Our midfield isn't half as good without him there.
