I didn’t see the hype with him early on, I suspect he was getting the Danny Williams fans onside in those first games, blinded by a big unit who was crashing into things but not great on the ball. There has been a massive step up from the Orient game onwards when he’s been more ambitious but tidier as well. Whatever happens with him I doubt it will be without a permanent bid from Wrexham (which people should think about if he gets a better offer).

Thought it summed him up yesterday that even when he made a wayward pass in the first half, he won it back a few seconds later. He's exactly what we need.

He was surplus to requirements at Crewe, even though many fans rate him, he was frozen out by Artell and unlikely to want to rush back. Artell needs money so I expect he will try to cash in on Walkers form for us. If we have the money he is a great investment.and priority one. He is enjoying his football so we would be a good move for him too
