Lainton 8 solid handling

Carrington 8 great esp 2nd half
Lawlor 8 really good
Pearson 9 great defending and got the ball rolling
Jennings 8 sublime defending at times

Walker 9 unplayable first half, but tires
Wright 8 one of his best performances
Summerfield 9 superb
Ruthers 9 Salford couldn't live with his energy
Grant 7 good, but not as good as the rest

Beavon 10 his first half show was amazing and a joy to witness MOTM

Subs
Tollit 8 great with the ball at his feet
Holroyd glad he scored
Deverdics not much to say.

Lainton did one good save, which was unnecessary as a free kick was given apart from that all he did was pick the ball out of the net. The back four were solid. Mid-field, Walker did his job effectively, Summerfield was my motm he was just everywhere , now, Wright scored but I thought the game bypassed him, he just has that one pace. Rutherford did his usual stuff, just ran & ran.
Grant, my feelings were just average. Bevan ran the centre backs ragged without been a goal threat.
When Tollitt came on I was impressed with his overall play and took his goal brilliantly.
But my 10 out 10 goes to the fans, what a great atmosphere.

I’m not going to single out individual performances by giving ratings as everyone put in a shift today, a real team effort!
