With all the hype over a possible new striker I am concerned that our lads may also be big targets for other clubs during January ,if finance allows we should just shut up shop and do our damdest to keep them ( well most of them)

Like who? The only one I could see leaving would be Walker to sign permanent for someone in the League.

If we get an offer for Manny it could be interesting though considering he’s going to be out of contract. Rest of the lads are more than happy here.

We’ve got a strong squad when you consider the likes of Young and Smith weren’t playing yesterday, they’d both get in 90% of teams in this league.

If we could get £50k for Manny, I’d let him go so the money can fund another player. Lawlor is more than adequate. We’ve not missed Manny one bit although I suggest that’s largely down to the bloke to the left of him.

It's the loans that are the worry , in the form the team is showing it would be a worry to lose Grant , Tollett etc but we don't really know exactly how long they are here .

Let's not get too excited about Tollitt, he is highly rated at Tranmere and is purely here to gain fitness and confidence so let's enjoy him while we have him. Grant likewise, can see him going to a L2 club soon though from what I've seen of him he'll be no great loss.

We have a great base but despite yesterday's brilliant win we still need 2/3 quality players to really mount a title challenge.

Whilst I agree that we need to strengthen, can you confirm what you see as a title challenge?? (I only ask because to me the fact that we are 3 points off the leaders with a game in hand would suggest we are already mounting a challenge
)
