Bit before my time - my first memory was teams including Eddie May - as a kid I thought he was actually a real giant who had climbed down the beanstalk just to play for us ! lol

Here we go.

Back row - left to right

Gareth Salisbury
Elfed Morris
Kevin Keelan
Alan Fox
Reg Holland
Tecwyn Lloyd - Jones

Centre row - left to right

Jack Jones (trainer)
Mike Metcalf
Peter Jones

Ron Barnes
Clive Colbridge
Aly McGowan

Front row - left to right

Used to beat defender's for fun. Then go back and beat them again.

It's an aspect of a game that many of us probably miss and the passage of time has made us forget it ever used to happen.

When's the last time we saw an out and out winger hogging the touchline, running any distance with the ball and taking on and passing a defender or two before either cutting infield or putting a proper cross in - doesn't seem to happen in the modern game.

I have fond memories of Bobby Shinton but particularly the late Steve Fox.

Nowadays we or rather most teams seem content to stop the ball and go sideways or backwards - nobody seems to want to take a risk for fear of losing possession.

Not a fan of Manchester United but give me a George Best any day.

7 - 2 I think - and we were 2 - 1 down at half time, Colbridge made the first six and scored the seventh himself !
