Sorry to tag on to the hundreds of positive threads about the Salford performance. I just wanted to say I bloody needed that on Boxing Day!

It was quite emotional for me anyway- me and my Dad would get to most games but the Boxing Day game was a real tradition for us (despite disappointment from rest of the family for not attending their shit buffet).

Firstly, Christ we have some amazing supporters. I was in the ERS- fans from 4-90 singing their hearts out for the whole game. Not just joining in but they meant it!

The celebrations when those goals went in will live long in the memory- a massive “up yours” to Sugar Daddies and anyone who has ever doubted us. When Walker scored, I was hugging people I’ve never met before.

The players were all immense but the performances of Pearson, Walker and Beavon was everything Wrexham fans expect (reminded me of Joey, Owen and Benno).

Anyway, we have something very special going on here- there will be more lows, but bloody enjoy this amazing high.

It lifted me, it lifted Wrexham and North Wales- bloody brilliant!
