Wrexham v Bradford PA in 1964 won by a deluge of goals. An evening game under lights, pipe smoke and hotdog and onions aroma in the air the smell of wintergreen on the players legs. Staying up late at 8 yrs of age, knowing my lil bro was jealous tucked up in bed. Proper football ploughed playing surface. Players with no front teeth standing in boys pen with a hot drink and food. The CURSE of being a wrexham supporter firmly implanted to my dying day. Thanks uncle Clive will never forget that match.

Hopefully we won’t be playing them again next season if they get promoted

May 1977 v Crystal Palace , we needed a point from our last two games Palace at home on a thurs night and Mansfield away on the Sat , i don't think it was a great game but it was memerable for the right and wrong reasons , loosing 0-2 with only minutes left then all of a sudden we scored cant remember who then the unbelieve happened we equellized and for a moment we are in the 2nd division only for a moment though cuz injury time arrived and a further goals for palace and it was 2-4 . always remember that night as my clutch packed up on the way to work Mansfield beat us 1-0 on the sat and condemmed us to another season in the 3rd , the following season we went up as champions and that 7-0 hammering of Rotherham at home clinched promotion and the beeb showed extended highlights the next day Sunday so i took the day off work to watch the game , not the best games but unforgettable times

There was a home match against Northampton circa 2000 that we won 3-2 with a free kick from Fergie in last minute. We also missed 2 penalties in the match. It was probably a mid table clash that meant nothing but it was a thrilling match.

Also the early days of Trundle, particularly the Oxford match. What a genius he was.
