Love the reaction when the ref blows his whistle. It show's how much it means to the players.

He admits himself in that interview that he wasn’t as effective as he would have liked in his first season. Some players take longer to settle in than others.

In his latest interview Rutherford admits he was nowhere near top form in his 1st season with us. Credit to him that he's improved so much when he's hardly a spring chicken. Sheer hard work.

The one thing you have to love about our players is their love of the shirt and the fans.

They know full well if they get us promoted, they will be the former players being invited to functions and match days as returning forever hero's 10/20/30years from now.

Rutherford and many others in this side are so likeable because of the amount of graft they are willing to do. There was a point towards end of game on Saturday where they were breaking down left wing and he had already dropped as a second right-back. I can always forgive players a lack of talent but the effort these guys are putting in at the moment is superb.

The graft in the team isnt in question. Seems we have ridden our luck a bit but its a huge win.

I wouldn't say we were lucky, we didn't take our early chances when we played some good stuff and then it was about players winning their individual battles and we stood up to a very decent/strong tream. We showed the better quality and once we did get in front, they were always going to give it real go, but we coped fairly comfortably. Confidence is high which probably helped and we didn't repeat old habits of sitting deeper and deeper.

LOL. Love the shirt? Please. One big offer from a league above and any current player would be off like a shot.

Match report said they could/should have equalised that's all. 3 points though so onwards
