Midfield diamond didn’t work for us first half, when we gave it away it allowed their full backs to push on quickly pretty much unopposed. Thought we should have gone 433 with Tollitt and Rutherford down the sides, don’t get why we’d move Carrington to LWB and then take him off anyway.

They were solid defensively dealing with all aerial crosses and set pieces, could have done with getting in behind along the deck as I thought their two CBs would have struggled with that.

Salford are a Mickey Mouse club, I was in the home end and there was no atmosphere at all, crap facilities and couldn’t believe it when loads of them left with 5 to go.

Well done to the travelling fans especially for applauding the players at the end, a tough run of games and the loss wasn’t due to a lack of effort or application.

Very disappointing performance, particularly 1st half. Very narrow pitch, same as Sollihull away and the same performance.

Poor performance 1st half better 2nd but no real threat . Fantastic support shit ground, even worse than jesters ,and those floodlights ! It was almost dark 2nd half

I'v said in recent post Grant was average and I cant see why people are biging him up. I sounded like a game to far today, but we are in one hell of a good position to crack on with.
Now then, January window and as Barrow has said it's a difficult one. This striker we are seeking or desperate to get. This time of year what club are going to let someone go who's scoring for them, so, this brings me to someone who can't get into there first team, we have two like that already, or do we go down league and wave a couple of quid under some chairman's nose.
In the summer it's a waiting game. Now you don't have that time. Anyway good luck with that Graham.

1 deflected goal in 4 away games sums it up. Good job we had 2 home games over Xmas as I dread to think where we would be. I think a lot of the boxing day bravado will settle into reality.

Still a long way to go in this race but we need to address some basic flaws in the squad/team. GBs comments in todays media indicate were limited from the bench. Plus our elusive CF thats needed.

GB needs to strike now and keep the momentum as we know only too well how quickly the momentum can turn the other way.
