Nonsense,

Neither can hit the target but Akil can get some power behind it. Rutherford, as much as I like him, his shooting is powderpuff to say the least. He must know this is a weakness of his so why not try and get the ball to somebody more capable instead?

I agree with this. I should say I like both Wright and Rutherford. Ruthers can't shoot for toffee though, he's dreadful in from of goal. His running frequently pulls teams out of position though, that's his strength.

Why not practice to improve it if its a weakness?
Ruthers, Akil, Beavon. Summerfield, Grant all poor when it comes to attempts on goal. Target, target, target that is what is needed.

Given usually at least 4 of the 5 have been starting recently is it any wonder we struggle to score?

Again, the highlights could prove me wrong but I don't think it was a glaring opportunity missed. For a midfielder anyway.
I thought Roberts & Grant link up play was bloody awful , makes you wonder what they do on the training ground

My only game this season : watching orient warm up I commented to my mate how clinical they were at shooting practice, all on target with plenty of power

I am clinical in the garden playing with the kids knocking balls in the top bin with no pressure from other players, our players are abysmal in this area
