On the face of it a bizzare arrangement - but perhaps behind the scenes it's a bit more complex.

STFC have just signed Dave Edwards they must consider Walker as surplus to requirements but if Walker helps get us up to L2 perhaps there is something in it for Shrewsbury.

I still don't get this.
Here is a guy who supposedly was depressed at Crewe because he wasn't playing.

At Shrewsbury he will be well down the pecking order and likely on the bench again (...if he's lucky).

I know the money is likely to be better, but given his supposed fragility, you'd think this would not be his prime motivator.
