According to Barrow- Walker can't play for another team this season other than Crewe or us. Artell has given Walker the Ok to talk to other teams
You can see a loan back to us happening. Would have preferred a 1.5year deal. But league 1 money will be good
Barrow goes on to say, if we dont get Walker then we will look for another midfield player

One signing from the massive Morecambe in Oswell, 2 loans from the Tramps, another 6 month signing in Grant and lose one of our best loan signings in Walker, I know wages etc come into it but where's the snakes rumoured £200k to spend in January gone?

Must be quite unique this , Crewe want rid , we want him , Shrews want him but can't play him , so only way he plays this season is if he plays for us rest of season , I bet there's some negotiations going on right now about how to get over this , i bet we play hardball .

Not being funny but you've just bitten to what the snake was trying here.

He says 200k and fans go mad if they don't think we've spent it. We've got two new strikers tried with walker. What more do people want? I'm sure everyone in the league still thinks they need "a few more players" but I reckon we are good enough. It's just getting the best out of everyone from now till end of April.

If these two strikers hit the ground running no one will be moaning in a month's time. If they don't everyone will want another two. Everyone's a risk and we haven't dithered. Don't let the snakes mind games infiltrate our thoughts.

Oswell, cost £40k, £40kpa = £60k over 18 months = £100k
2 tramps for 6 months = £40k
Grant 6 months, £20k
Walker 6 months £20k

and it's only 8th January.
