I completely condemn any form of racist behaviour and I hope the club throw the book at those found responsible here.

However, from where I sat in the Yale stand, I saw at least one of their bench gesticulate wildly and shout at the crowd immediately after they scored, which prompted the surge towards their bench and the eventual fists to fly.

I know this in no way justifies the racism, but I do think that as professional representatives of their club, they should have shown a bit of restraint and not got involved with the crowd other than to make the authorities aware of what had been shouted.

We are not the only club with this type of idiot following us (unfortunately) and they only need the slightest of excuses to take things to the next level, which is obviously what happened here.
