Most football club directors receive no pay and have to give financial bonds to be accepted onto club boards. Butchers, bakers etc.
Most of our football club directors are more than qualified to run businesses.
I agree its crass but I also think the WAFC board has the wrong structure.
The WST is responsible for ownership and direction and WAFC must be football and business and we dont have the right structure at this level.

Outside investment is a must, there also needs to be a figure head leading the troops. At the moment its a 2 man band.

The games have been coming thick and fast over the last couple of weeks which has meant little time, if any has been available to spend on the training pitch.
Understand it's the same for most teams but hopefully now we are back to just Saturday matches for the foreseeable future, GB can put the lads through their paces and reiterate what they need to be doing and following the FAT match things will start to improve.

You never know.

In the cold light of day, we have ballsed up last night. Seems like we capitulated. But the rankings on RP are laughable. It’s total knee jerk reaction. We have performed poorly in the last three games and got what we deserved -nowt!
But look at the league table folks. No one is really setting the league alight. It’s there for the taking and it can just as easily be WAFC.
Personal attacks on GBs ability are rather childish - give the lad a chance, and time to sort things out the way he wants. It’s no wonder footy managers have only months at the helm with the chasing pack behind them! All very unrealistic.

Not sure if serious. Would you like a refund every time Wrexham lose?

Only for a minority of hardened fans who travel that far on a Tuesday night and see a team play with significantly less effort than they have taken to get there. Other club chairmen have done this on many occasions.

with our untouchable board and the same old mistakes year on year we are going nowhere.

Most teams have a dip in form at some point in a season.

The first half of the season has been good so hopefully we get back to business in the next league game and get a decent run going.
It's all about timing.

Keep the faith!

What's more frustrating than anything is how negative Barrow set us up last night. We need goals so he plays with one upfront and puts out best playmaker in defensive midfield. Come on, that is a complete balls up by our manager. I'd expect him to say sorry for that, and hopefully we will see a more attack minded side in our next game. Use the orient game to find an attacking more direct style and go with it. With Stockton, Oswell, Pyke, Beavon, Fondop, Holroyd and Grant in the squad, does anyone else think we are a bit overloaded with strikers, especially if barrow is planning on playing with one up top on his own?
