Then again, Horne didn't want Flynn. I know, that needs reading back.

You better show me the post then as the Salford home game is the only game we have attacked with purpose, a little more pace than usual and more forward passes than sideways and backwards.

One game don't make a season, we caught Salford on a bad run, we struggled against Solihull even though we won.

Bit if you didn't like my honest appraisal of the New Year circus that is Wrexham Afc fair enough it's just my opinion as I said at the start.

I'm still trying to get my head around giving an assistant manager a 2.5yr deal, and even more so making him manager a week later.

I can only think it's a where do we go from here situation , GB's is the boss like it or lump it , he ain't getting sacked is he . Must be an eye opener for him now , he has a game to use to get something going for the league , a bit of rest time for players , new players to work with , maybe one or two more . Hopefully these teams we've lost to will give others problems and take points away , they seem to be improving , so we can see it as a fresh start in someways no other comps in the way . We are coming to the business end now a run would make a difference , here's hoping .

And the board will yet again be coming back to the fans next season for more money.

Can I be disappointed if I predicted we’d lose 2-0!?

Also, a quick search of four random clubs showed that 50% had someone with football experience at that level and in no way does it mean the ones without are in the right! I'm too busy to work my way through the league structure for a full assessment!!!
Leaving aside the anomaly of the Board appointing Barrow assistant before they appointed a manager, it’s obvious that something went wrong in the process.

We do not have a Director of Football, so the professional is the manager. It is his responsibility to meet the Board’s requirements within the allocated budget. Presumably, the Board use Dixie McNeil as a soundboard, now that Barry Horne has left.

GB has one FA Trophy game and 10 days to bring in a few more players and decide what his best starting XI is before we face a slick AFC Fylde away, and the potential for 4 straight league defeats. I currently have some sympathy for the predicament GB finds himself in but he is an old experienced pro, who will know that he needs to find a solution quickly, and not allow us to drift aimlessly out of the POs.

The clock is ticking, and I am sure he understands our many failings; ones which he must correct ASAP. As for whether the Board has released the extra profit - as they had promised - I do not know. If they haven’t, then there must be a reason, and the onus is on them to explain if there has been a policy change, and why.

A man who hasn't been involved in football for donkeys years? Not sure that's wise.
