After beating Salford and Solihull our confidence should have been sky high, but it seems to have had the opposite effect

433 is a reason. It really means just one striker as the other two play wide or even deeper in midfield. That one striker has to run the channels, win the ball in the air, hold it up, get beyond the last man and be a fox in the box. Now unless the striker is phenomenal that’s not going to happen. Teams at our level need 2 up front working closely together . If I was Barrow I would go to 442

Tollitt Walker Summerfield Rutherford

oswell Stockton

Grant needs to be packed off back to Brookside Close and any manager who thinks that Kevin Roberts is better than Carrington needs to go there with him.

This away form is shocking. Last away win was back in October against D&R.

10th spot here we come!!
The concerns are :

we cannot see evidence of the needed investment despite being told that the Ward money has to be accounted for this season otherwise the taxman gets a huge chunk. Plus over £200k in football fortune.

The current squad have punched above and looks as though they have burned out now. Summerfield, Wright and Young looking shadows of themselves.
Personally I think Grants inclusion has made the team worse and the Salford home performance has been a flash in the pan.

Momentum was lost by not sorting Walkers loan extension during December or at least lining a replacement up.

The away form problem has been there since early October and everyone has made every excuse in the book rather than face up to the reality.

Our top scorer is still on 5 goals despite not really playing for months and this problem wasn't addressed at the time and we have muddled through recently with a 60 minute player and an unfit player out of position. We're supposed to be a professional club FFS.

We're now dropping like a stone and history tells a story in this respect. This is going to hit the attendances and cost us money and the play offs if we don't recognise the problem.

The only positive is that GB now has the FAT weekend as a grace period to bring in some new faces. Seems a new CB so we can go 532 but I think that will need 2 new CM as well.

Sssshhh, I keep getting shot down with my criticism of him 🙄

Mr 5 a side still pulling a wage in for being part of a one sided league of Wales wining side? Seems immune to managerial changes at the club....bizarre.

We’ve lost our best midfielder in Walker whereas we’re now lumbered with Grant unfortunately...
