Can not boss a midfield how many times have we been over run in midfield and Summerfield goes missing,if we got promotion he would have to be left in the national league.

I've said on numerous threads where fans are crying outage for a striker that Kane … Salah would struggle in this team because our midfield is crap, Summerfield is the best of a very bad bunch, but he lacks consistency, even Walker lacks consistency, where Barrow should be investing is midfield, we need a Fowler type without the baggage someone who can pass and create chances for the forwards, but our biggest problem is the whole side including his 2 new strikers lack pace Tollet aside of course, but As far as Summerfield goes if played in the right position he is the best of a very average midfield.

Some choose to ignore the signs as were still 4th and some just know the sense of foreboding that is starting to unravel.

I was hoping the Ward money would provide 2 quality signings hmmmm and I have concerns over some current players.

Personally I welcomed a bit of old school because I think we have folk at the club who are far too tactical for their own good who make a simple game very complicated. Jack Charlton is still right though , because if you don’t get into the opponents area and work the keeper you aren’t going to score.
To do this you have to win the midfield balls and not give them away.
So at the moment the midfield is key.

Agree. Simple wisdom is as relevant today as it was when issued. Our Jacky was spot on. It is especially relevant at this level of football.

Solihull Moors’ game is 95% this tactic. We need it to be approximately 60%, with 40% passing football.
