My point is that were they the right appointments given how easily and quickly they were lured away before they achieved anything here? Other clubs who've done well in this league didn't suffer this.
It was said semi tongue in cheek. I get I could have made that clearer.

You asked what they'd done that made them good appointments. The answer to that is simple - they left us in a better state than they took us over.

As for how quickly they were lured away, I'm convinced that Keates wouldn't have gone to anyone other than Walsall. It's his boyhood club. Anyone who says they wouldn't have done the same is being disingenuous. Ricketts will move on again as soon as he gets the chance. THat's his prerogative but based on the froth on here and on twitter following last night I understand why a manager would want to do it. They're only 3 poor results away from the fans wanting them out.

That said, I have significant concerns about Barrow and Newell. I hope I'm proved wrong.

No problem.
As soon as Newell was appointed alarm bells were ringing for me.

Like you say I hope I'm wrong

Got to admit I was beside myself when we got mills but look we’re that landed us. We must have had 6 managers since Saunders in such a short time. Mozza obviously the best stat wise but maybe he was unlucky with the lack of cash at that time. I’d have chosen The Fylde man or Flowers but what do I know.

Flowers is playing to his strengths a big lumbering team physical, it's the way to get out of this league not sideways, backwards and not getting strikers into the box that's why we don't score we sit to deep. The build up is to slow and the whole side lacks pace except Tollit, no pass and move, and nobody who can get behind the opposition defence to get good crosses in.Posted via mobile theme
You could see this perfectly with Dover on Saturday. Several sideway balls allowing dover the time to set in with the two banks of four. We inevitably either go long with a poor quality ball or try to pass through the midfield again with poor quality passing allowing them to break on us.

The few times we did start moving the ball with pace and wide we started to cause them problems. Problem was the final ball quality into the box 95% of the time was terrible. The two decent balls we did get all game Wright missed a 1 on 1 with the Keeper and Beavon headed over from six yards unopposed.

Morrell was let down by the board who used football fortune cash earmarked for player budget to accelerate the payment of debt.

Was it earmarked for the player budget? I don't think it was. The mission was always to get the club debt free asap, football fortune just sped that up.
