I'm not so sure he is you know. Granted he started the season very well but he's looked average/lost for the last couple of months in the, mainly away, games I've been to.

The problem is he's our only remotely creative midfielder so if he's off form there's no one to come in that's similar to him.

Grant reminds me of Ian Rush, quality on paper but has affected the way the team play to the extent we are now less than the sum of our parts. Persisting with him may be Barrow's downfall.

Concerned with talk of new centre half for 352 as no RWB and Barrow could end up the new Brian Little playing long ball. We all know how that ended up.

Do you think there could be a clause in the Loan deal for tolliet that if we start him, we have to pay Tranmere a fee?
Very strange he is not starting and he has come on at half time twice.

I did have concerns about whether Barrow was right person to spend Ward monies and some of the signings are questionable already. Now concerned that the next installment of the Ward monies might be in relation to a change of manager.
The board were forgiven for Gary Mills fiasco and the Andy Davies naivety. If Graham Barrow does not work out the calls for a change will resurface. The board do a huge amount of brilliant work on an unpaid basis but fans only have a certain level of tolerance. Did say when appointment was made that it could backfire on the board which gives me no pleasure whatsoever.

jesus Christ, hes only signed three players tollit, oswell and Stockton, 2 of who have only been at the club a couple of days, at least give them a week, some people are ridiculous, Grant was a Ricketts loan signing

I am not a football manager full stop.Make it 4 signings as Barrow did not have to pursue deal for Grant who is proving to be an expensive luxury. I can see we need a creative midfielder but Barrow and long ball clearly plans to bypass midfield so no need.Walker can be a fifth defender and the others can run around looking busy. Suppose explains why he had not managed for last 13 years.

Barrow unfortunately is old school and was used by SR to kick where necessary. SR being late thirties was of a mentality closer to the players than GB. GB being old school would require an assistant manager in the same age bracket as SR to achieve this. MN in his fifties is closer to GB in mentality and I fear that our sudden loss of form is a reaction to their new style of management. With GB being an assistant manager would have meant that if Askey had got the job, he would have being stuck with GB and if offered it he may have said I want my own appointment as assistant manager.

I fear that we are going to implode over the next few weeks as the players will increasingly resist the attempts by GB MN to turn things around.

The first test will be Fylde away - if we don't sort ourselves out it could be an almighty stuffing.

I hope my comments will prove i'm an idiot with Wrexham going on a 15 game unbeaten run and finishing as champions.

Summerfield has been poor the last few games but was still performing very well in games until recency. Players have fluctuations in form.

I see Grant is now the scapegoat, at least Rutherford might get a few weeks off.
