Absolute bizzare move.
Not complaining because our midfield is very poor but strange all round.
STFC sign him but don't want him - so why sign him at all ? especially as they have also reinforced their midfield.
It's a situation that happens at the top of the pyramid where a player is bought and then loaned back to stop any other club getting their hands on him but L1 taking a signing from L2 to loan him back to National League - just weird.
Did we even make a bid for him I wonder ?

All very odd but if we get the same Walker for the rest of the season it's a good bit of business. Unclear what benefit Shrewsbury have achieved in signing him now rather than end of season though.

He can only play for us or Crewe again this season due to the two club rule, so he wouldn't be allowed to play for the slops even if they wanted him to
