1.) If you want to piss off and demotivate our attacking players by dropping them straight away when we (had) been doing well for a newbie go ahead. Shows lack of loyalty and disrupts a team that have flirted with top spot.
2.) Not match fit for 90mins due to lack of games.
3.) Coming back from knee injury I believe so 90 mins on a plastic pitch not the best idea at Bromley.
4.) Player with pace often preferred when defences tiring as impact sub at end of gaame. He scored against Salford after they had thrown the towel in.
5.) Can he match the defensive duties, running closing down of our other established forwards. Maybe he can but I'd doubt it.

It's too simplistic to say he should start.
Agree. Think GB wants to use him more but realises he needs to be eased in, not thrown in.

I think Tollitt may be here longer, just an inkling...

As for a new formation, at least we have the game on Saturday to try things, get players used to the idea.

And if it fails, and we lose... one less distraction from the run in.

Cover and the opportunity to play three CB's.

However saw Pearson at TF in the hydropool this morning looked like he was carrying a knock and obviously not training so I expect he will be rested for this Saturday.

Why sign him then?

Pearson better be at home on saturday watching Grandstand.

Him even attending the match is too risky in case he catches a cold.

I get the impression Kennedy is cover or either Pearson & Lawlor - prompted by Manny Smith's knee operation - Tharme is also injured and hasn't been available for some time.

If we had a 5 man defence it would be reliant on the wing backs attacking down the flanks - Jennings might prosper but doesn't seem to have the ability to get back as well as hoped - the other flank is probably a non starter.
Rather than 5 defenders passing it along the back line for ever I would prefer more attack options - the defence has been solid, possibly the most solid in the league - it's the top end of the field we have been woeful - either the strikers or the lack of supply to them.

He's only here for a month isn't he? As he's not our player I don't really understand the potential bit.
Seems a bit of a pointless signing to me.
Maybe its just me but when we sign someone they should be given a fair chance, especially if the team isn't performing as we've seen of late. Plus he looks talented; skilful, pacey and direct too. Ah well.
