Fair play to anyone who does. But it'll be a room full of people with blinkers on.

Btw I'm not anti Barrow or Anti Trust before this is thrown at me
Surely if the question you are asking (and the way you are asking it) is reasonable, there shouldnt be a problem. If you are there to be a dick about things, people that arent not a dick about things will take issue.

Hypothetically, if you could ask any question without going, what would it be?

Correct - if they didn't have this event the snipers would say they have something to hide.

For those that say board members are not approachable they will be there and can be spoken to privately.

However be aware they cannot publicly discuss transfer fees wages/salaries etc

I guess you would have asked if the Board seek the advice of Club President Dixie McNeil on football-related matters? Spoke to Dixie last night and the answer is a definite NO.

Don't think I can make this but my question if someone wants to ask it,

"Have you studied past sides that have won this league and what did you find were common traits in them"

They all had forwards which could put the ball in the onion bag on a regular basis something that is sadly missing at our club.

I can't I'm washing my hair that night. In all serious my answer to Dave O was to see who takes the bait. His reply was their is middle of thy road fans. And of course their is theirs fans who think everything is rosie, those who don't and inbetweenies, whoever does go whatever the question will get the well rehearsal standard answer. Personally the only question I would ask is how can Barrow not want the job one week and then be given a 2.5 yr contract as an assistant at 64 then a week later change his mind, he has not been a manager for 13 yrs and he wasn't exactly Arsene Wenger then... But their would be no point in asking it as they will spin some reason and it's done anyway only time will tell if it was the right decision. We move on and looks forward to much looking backwards at this club history has its place but this manager and players need to make their own.

Also I wouldn't do a 40mile round trim and go to listen waffle without being able to drink.

I went to the last one in May at the Cent. It was really good. But really, what point is getting to know your manager, when they only last 6-12 months. If they do well, better clubs come looking and if they donít deliver, they are sacked.
It will be a stage managed event, and the questions we all want answering will not be asked.
Spencer will be first one up to lead the clapping!

Thanks Dave. Seems rather short-sighted of the Board not to seek all available advice. Whether they use it is up to them
