If it’s how things used to be in the 1970’s then yeah, we should.
If they wanted to know that why not just do a 'fact finding' trip to the deva etc etc etc

Wouldn't it be nice if we could replicate the successes of the 1970's!

The board probably read RP and the fans Facebook page to pick up tips and advice.

Dixie should post on his FB page more often

I know you in are tongue in cheek but there is a lot to be learnt from past teams who won our league. Were they 4-4-2 or 4-3-3, did they play direct or pass through midfield, did they press the opposition or sit back and contain, did they play target men up top or small pacey players. etc etc
If there appears to be a formula to do well in this league then let's recruit players who fit that profile

I can't recall any team that went up playing 352 or 532. I can't recall many who played 451 and sat back and I also can't recall any team playing these ridiculous diamonds that certain folk like to play now and again. I can't recall any team going up whilst playing tika taka at the back and being completely shot shy.

Based on who has gone up from this league then the blueprint is pretty simple and more in line with what Creighton said in the Daily Post a few years ago rather than what they teach at the FAW.
