I watched the highlights and granted it doesn't give you the full picture but I didn't think we were as bad as some made out on here.

I just hope Barrow isn't out of his depth, the next month or so will tell us a lot about him and this squad. We badly need a centre midfielder who can pick a pass and run a game for us but then again we've been saying this for years.
It looked to me like a practice match for both sides.
We took the opportunity to look at a different formation and to a degree it looked promising. Still need to get things moving through the midfield whichever system we play.
Oswell and Stockton had game time and some players got a rest.
It wasn't all bad and although I prefer to see us win in any game, I won't be losing any sleep over this loss.

I think the reaction was more because they didn't stop the rot of the losing run rather than going out of the FAT. Oh and the failure to score again.

Get the feeling our season is at a turning point now, win at Fylde and we're off again, lose and the pressure will ramp up even more.

I'm not a fan of Barrow or Newell but we are stuck with them like it or not. Newell did make a fist of it at Luton so he obviously knows the game he did make an ass of himself while there over agents got him the sack. But now 99% of fans would totally agree with him it's now all about money not pride or loyalty greed has taken over our game when the guy from West Ham playing in the so called best league in the world claps his hands to the fans as his last game to go to China it says it all. The game is now corrupt and as we all know its happening at our level. Sometimes you think why bother, but we all love Wrexham FC but as things stand we will never compete with money clubs over the last 11 years this has happened twice. Soul destroying but we carry on.

Barrow complaining over us needing international clearance for a player 30 miles down the road, because he could not play him on Saturday. I think this is wrong . The rules need changing for teams accepted and playing in the same league. Discrimination or what?

But the ultimatum, in crude terms, would be:

1. Put up with it.
2. **** off to the League of Wales.

Would it really. I am not a lover of the EU, if you follow the off topic thread, but I wonder what the ECJ would make of it.

Like I said, it's in crude terms but basically that would be people's response.

We play in the English pyramid, but under the juristication of the Welsh FA in most regards.

People will argue if we play in the English pyramid we should be goverened by the English FA, others will argue differently.

It's a minefield...

I commented about this before and like I said we play in the fifth tier of an English Pyramid so we should be governed by the FA not the FAW. But like you say in order to "avoid" international clearance, we could move to league of Wales, which would mean not getting anywhere near enough money as we do now.
