Orient Ratings
Roberts 5- Average Walker 5- Looked okay in an unfamiliar position Lawlor 6- Usual Summerfield 4- Get him off set pieces ffs Wright 4- Poor. Just don't think he's good enough Young 4- If you looked up headless chicken in the dictionary his name would appear Jennings 7- Motm Carrington 5- Gave away the pen. Otherwise steady enough Oswell 5- Battled for everything but it didn't quite come off. To be fair he didn't have hardly any service Stockton 4- Wasn't impressed really. Looked lazy Subs Tollitt 4- Ran into trouble every time Pyke 6- Start him for Fylde. Made a few decent runs. Rutherford- N/A

Re: Orient Ratings
Wasn't there but seems harsh to give Dibble a 4 when he only conceded 1 from a pen! Sad but not surprised to see the other marks. Encouraged Jennings did ok at LWB, maybe that's his position as he's a weak left back.

Re: Orient Ratings
Dibble 5 punching rather than catching the ball which used to be one of his strengths
Roberts 5 Walker 6 Lawlor 6- Summerfield 3 Terrible delivery Wright 4 Young 3 tries hard but not good enough Jennings 8 been playing well recently Carrington 7 Oswell 4 tried hard but looked poor, maybe down to the complete lack of service though Stockton 5 looked like he had some potential to do ok for us Subs Tollitt 5 a bit light weight but has skill and creativity Pyke 7 played quite well and is strong on the ball. Definitely gives us a threat Rutherford- 3 not on long enough

Re: Orient Ratings
Dibble - 5 - Loved having the ball didn't he? Took ages to get rid of it every time. Also made a baffling punch that cost us a corner in the first half when he should've caught it. He's incredibly rusty as he never gets to play.
Carrington - 5 - Uninspiring, out of position. Roberts - 5 - Weakest link in the defence. Walker - 7 - Fine. Lawlor - 7 - Fine. Jennings - 7 - MOTM, our only attacking outlet until Tollitt came on, very well suited to the LWB role. Summerfield - 4 - Gave the ball away far too often and cannot take set pieces anymore. What's happened to him? Young - 8 - Rating is assuming he played for Leyton Orient today. Played some excellent balls to yellow shirts which started a few attacks. Wright - 4 - His signature move is giving the ball away then kicking the opposition player out of frustration Oswell - 5 - Couldn't get into the game, it's pointless having him here if we're not creating chances. Stockton - 6 - Good hold up play, especially in the 2nd half but had no one playing off him. Has the potential to create chances for himself but was up against a decent defence today. Subs: Pyke - 6 - Decent. Tollitt - 6 - Should've started, came on far too late and struggled to make an impact. Gave the ball away a couple of times but started a couple of moves in his short time on the pitch that could've ended in goals if we had a midfield. Rutherford - N/A |

I would be dropping Wright way before Summerfield though - offers very little and gives cheap ball away far too frequently. We are like an engine - only a number of pistons are firing at the moment which places added burden on the ones that are functioning. |

Re: Orient Ratings
Quote:
Dibble (6) Too many poor punches and too slow distributing the ball. Lawlor (7) Good game. Wright (7) Ditto in a standby position. Roberts (6) Played well in the first-half but tired as the game went on. Carrington (7) Played well but lacks pace to be a wing-back. Wright (4) Not good enough in the centre. Try him at RWB. Summerfield (4) Nearly scored and worked hard but his distribution and set-piece play was poor. Young (4) Ditto but no end product. Jennings (7) Lacks pace to be truly effective but did well. Oswell (6) No service but kept at it. Has a physical presence but lacks pace. Stockton (6) As above. Subs: Pyke (6) Added some much needed pace. Tollitt (6) Tried to be too clever initially but then looked our most dangerous player for the last 5 minutes. Rutherford (6) Tried to make things happen but just lacks that final touch. The ref was poor today, and the penalty was very dubious. Our midfield is cack! Must do better on Saturday, which will be a test. GB has lost many of the fans and he needs to somehow get the show back on the road. Three straight wins and he’ll regain his hero status!
