Club board can and do sway the vote (bubble is an example) the way they want it to go and they are unelected. That's just wrong on so many levels.
As Haruki has described above, the process is biased and set up for everything to go the club boards way. Basically, you're on a hiding to nothing.

Also telling how little attention this thread has got whereas the transfer rumours thread which is mainly a load of bollocks has grasped pretty much everyone's attention.

Also why would both the WST and club boards want any of this to change when it's all set up to go their way or the highway? Turkeys don't vote for Christmas.

Many are either indifferent to the process or feel cynical that only Board-backed motions will be successful , on the basis that the voting core will almost always support the Board's view. That may not necessarily be the case but I can only think of one Resolution in the last 10 years which was passed despite the Board's opposition. That, of course, was the DSA motion this year regarding the second platform.
Just been on the WST Website to refresh my memory and the DSA resolution wasn't opposed by the board. Just for accuracy. (It's on the third page of the news scroll.)

Sorry but again for accuracy, aren't the Club board members actually elected WST board members? Other than anyone who is seconded for whatever reason. So while it seems they aren't directly voted onto the club board they are voted to the trust board first. I guess the trust board vote on who goes on the club board.

That's not my understanding but I could well be wrong. We elect WST board member who then decide who should be on the club board. How they decide that I don't know but fans have zero say in it, that's certain.

Just looked at the minutes (on the Trust website) of the meeting after the trust elections last year and it says that club board members were voted in to their position (from the trust board) the year before (2017) and the term is 2 years before they have to be voted on again. So it seems you'd have to be voted onto the trust board by the fans and the trust board appoint the club board (by vote) I would guess based on skills and knowledge for the positions. So fans don't directly vote on the club board directors (if you discount the WST board as fans!) but do indirectly put up the candidates for the club board by putting them onto the trust board.

Ta.
So it is basically as I thought it was.

I'm far from convinced this is fair or truly democratic.

The point still stands that the board(s) directly influence any resolutions put forward unfairly.

Not sure I agree with your conclusions based on what I wrote. I certainly haven't agreed that they directly influence the decisions.

See Haruki's post. Clearly they did. Fairly underhanded too.

Well, he certainly says they did, but there is no detail and no-one to dispute his version of events which may or may not be correct. I would only agree if I knew the facts. Not saying he's lying, just that I don't know all the facts.
