Ok and if one of those still in were supposed to play us that means the same no game.

The next 4 FA trophy rounds clash with our games v Borehamwood, gateshead, Maidstone and hartlepool so we will only get a free Saturday if Maidstone beat Salford in the next round and then win again in the round after as the other 3 teams we are due to play have already been knocked out.

We wouldn’t have got Blyth as it’s a completely random draw and will be different every time...

I'm kind of glad we are out of it, as the players could do with a rest as the fixtures over xmas have been thick and fast. However, from previous seasons where we have gaps between games, we seem to lose sharpness. I know we are not sharp atm.

And your last paragraph is the point I was making. Look at last season.

A lot of things stand out after watching that (for the umpteenth time). The conditions undoubtedly, the skill level on display despite a treacherous pitch, but most relevant to us today is the commitment to attack. The number of balls into the box is one thing, but the number of players attacking the box is an object lesson for whoever really is setting our team up at the moment.

It's simple really - get the ball in the box and get men in there too. You may even score!
