Would we be any better off points / performance wise if Ricketts was still in charge?
I believe we would have better performances & a few more points on the board if he was still in charge. I also feel he would have gone out and got the players we need to make a final push post Christmas. (Yes I’m willing to give the new players time) but it goes hand in hand with how good the manager is. I also think tactically we would be more attacking and it worries me Barrow is a little to old school and doesn’t also pick the team needed for the game and rather goes on whos playing well. Yes Ricketts was a tinkerman but in my eyes it made things a little more interesting. |

I’m not saying we’d be better off in terms of points. However when the lads were blatantly feeling the effects of the Xmas fixtures Ricketts would have rotated the team in certain areas which could have helped our chances.
He was always pretty good at rotating and still producing positive results with 3/4 fresh faces. Ebbsfleet at home for example |

I do, easy to knock him and be blinded with rage at the way he left us which i don't forgive but he was a very smart cookie and I think barrow is more of the Mills mould of who cares about adapting to opposition let's just do what we do and hope it works.

This is surely a moot point. We have to move on and just get on with it, decisions have been made and despite our dreadful form need to give the club and Barrow our backing. Looking at the past and the what ifs is just irrelevant and will get us nowhere.
