Needs to play out wide in a 433 or as part of a 442. Not sure how he will fit into 532 though.

A formation has to suit the players available not the other way round.
I guess it will be 433, I doubt GB will change to 352 from kick off, aeay to a promotion rival, after a bit of an experiment with makeshift centre backs. Tollitt is overdue a start if he has proved his fitness but this may not be the game as this is definitely one where we probably need a team who are capable of grinding out a result.

Tollitt should start as we have not scored in last 4 games - due to starting most games with non scoring players. Stats do not lie but feels our management are not really picking up on it.

Our management are not mugs they have been round the clock several times so don't worry about them not picking up on stuff. Granted Tollitt has scored one goal and looked the part against a tiring well beaten Salford but if GB is limited to scoring players our last goals were scored by Holroyd and Ruthers. We would all love to go to Fylde with an all out attack minded team with pace going forward down the flanks but GB needs a to be confident the 11 starters are capable of getting a result which includes stopping Fylde play their attacking game.

By choosing or as we should have signing players with better goalscoring records we surely increase the odds of scoring and subsequently winning games. Rutherford did score one of the last goals, one of his 2 goals a season which was a deflection anyway. Oswell has scored in prior seasons but Stockton has only ever had 1 good goalscoring season-regardless total of 2 goals combined this season. Combining this with Grant who actually only scored once in his much lauded loan spell and yet to score afterwards raises concerning over goalscoring and the actual wisdom/logic in the signings.

I too hope the struggling welshmen can upset the form books against their illustrious opponents with a well earned 0-0 draw to keep our survival hopes alive.

To play a 352 system effectively, you need fast overlapping wing backs of the like of Carlos Edwards & Paul Edwards that Denis Smith had at his disposal in his first full season as manager! Do any of our current full backs other than possibly Jennings fit into this category? Also, wing backs need to be good crossers of the ball from the byline. Are Roberts and Carrington good enough in this department? I think not! Barrow should stick to four at the back. Tollitt should start and we should go for the win! Draws will not win any league. Is Barrow brave enough?

We’ve got to 4th in the league playing 4 at the back so we should continue as such.

Getting back to a settled 433 would be my preference but frankly, the players are letting us down in their consistency of performance post Solihull. Walker, Summerfield and Young should be good enough to trouble most midfields in this league. It's the 3 ahead of them who need to pull their fingers out.
