Wxm showed interest in both with an offer in January to RS but they have both opted for Morecombe.
Lincoln did it with Akinde and others have done it and its becoming too much of an excuse now. Other teams do it why can't we.
Even the bin dippers got Asante - wtf are we doing?

It's easy to call for change and outsiders to come in but there's nothing stopping anybody right now. If anything serious was brought forward then it'd be brought to a vote. Serious billionaires with decent intentions wouldn't be run out of town by the vast majority of fans. All those previously trying to 'buy' the club were rightly looked into and didn't stand up.

The cheap option point gets lobbed about with every appointment yet Davies was only until the end of the season. Mills we took from a club who were higher than us. Wilkin was 2nd or 3rd in our league when we took him in. Nobody knows how much Ricketts was on. First job or not, he had a safe, secure job at Wolves. We've tried managers from plenty of backgrounds, it isn't just the same thing over and over. That's not me saying that the board haven't got things wrong either.
Apart from the fact we have not made it clear that such interest is welcome.

For many years FGR were an example of how to spend a lot and achieve little.
but in FGR's case he funded the whole lot. We already have a huge income stream, so an investor could simply 'top up'

We have had how much money from the sell on clauses and done absolutely nothing, haven’t signed a star player or anything out of the ordinary also mind boggling really.

Did Akinde play for Lincoln in the NL?

Most of Asantes's goals were scored in the NL North, he has only once got into double figures in the NL, I reckon Oswell has a better pedigree.

Akinde played for Alfreton and Barnet. He only moved to Lincoln when they were in L2.

Asantes record in our division isn't brilliant. And since they signed him he's been injured.

Not sure what your point is.

True but other than the millionaire backed clubs does any NL club sign sure fire strikers, especially in January.
